Adapter Laptop Pcmcia

I own an Advent 7012 laptop. I only have usb ports and need usb2. My only other port is an lpt port. Any idea?
The only ports I have on my laptop are 2 usb ports and a printer port a modem port and a network port. I have been told i need a PCMCIA adapter but where do i connect it. All help gratefully received
A PCMCIA is sometimes called a PC Card. There is usually a slot on the side of the laptop for the PC Card. What you need is a PC Card that plugs into that slot and gives you a USB2 connection. Try a search for "PCMCIA usb2".
