Add Extra Power
how can i add extra power to my speakers without an amp?

OK, so I have 2 old Hi-Fi speakers, which do not have their own power supply, and I want them to work with my TV. so, I found an old 3.5mm jack with some cable attached, and tied the speakers up to this. it works fine, except they aren't getting enough power and hence are very quiet, and so I need to find a way to get more power to them. I'm only 16, still in school, so I don't have enough money to go out and buy an amp or anything. some help would be really good,

Also, I was Thinking of perhaps changing how I have wired the speakers?

You can't provide more power without an amplifier - simple laws of physics say you can't create power out of nothing.

TV output is NOT designed to drive speakers directly. Long term, you may damage your TV.
