Help choosing a AMD Phenom X4 9600 CPU processor fan?
i bought a bare bone kit online and it comes with an AMD Phenom X4 9600 CPU. The problem is i don't know what fan to mount on it? does any body have a suggestion? preferably one i can buy at best-buy?
Try this.... guaranteed you'll love it.
Xigamatek Dark Knight HDT (Make sure you get the correct one, this one is pure black with white LEDs in the fans) Spins at 2100RPM tops. Has a smaller but effective heatsink and direct touch pipes with the CPU. Looks innefficient but it isn't.
Then get MX-3 which cools better than Arctic Silver 5.
Simple as. Cheap. Effective. Looks great. Fits AM2 and AM3 as standard. Easy to Install. Amazing cooling performance. Not only that but it looks fantastic. Doesn't cover ANY RAM slots, allowing larger RAM to be installed. Couple that with MX-3 and the temps will be so sweet.
