Connecting a Laptop to a TV screen...?
First how do I know if I have an HDMI port? My laptop is a HP Pavilion dv9000 and I have no idea where to look or what it would look like...please help.
Secondly how should one connect a laptop to a tv? I wish to play movies on the bigger screen and other assorted fun stuff just bigger for others to see.
Laptop in question: HP Pavilion dv9000
TV in question: Westinghouse LCD HDTV Combo (32 inches)
(Not sure if that info will help any but please any good advice you can bring be greatly appreciated!!!)
► All you need is Video Card or VTBook card plugs into the PC-Card slot in your laptop and works as a source of second video output (this is if your laptop support or have pc-card slot)
► But you can buy separately similar like portable video card and connected through USB or RCA cables and A video card with 3D application support would be a good buy.
► Laptop display don’t look very good on external monitors or tv, coz the resolution is very much different.
► Changing a video card in laptop to play in external monitor/tv is not recommended.
