I was looking for a cheap dual core processor and motherboard and have a few questions:
1) Are DDR2 RAM motherboards compatible with DDR RAM?
2) Are pentium D Core 2 and Pentium D the same?
3)Basically which one is better:

Im mostly interested in the motherboard - so forget about the CPU difference.The first one says "- DDR2 533/400". These are quite expensive, which is why I was wondering if I can use my current DDR RAM in that motherboard, and maybe buy some DDR2 later.

I also have a Pentium D and im sure that the Pentium D dual core will be the same, it's the Duo core thats different (great CPU for the money tho!!!!)
