Mid-Tower VS Full ATX Sizes?
I have a Full ATX sized motherboard and I was wondering if it would fit inside a Mid-Tower case.
I have a XFX GeForce 9600 XXX Alpha Dog Edition. This card is huge. I also have 2 hard drives. how cramped will this be?
Don't let the sizing thing fool ya. I have a mid size tower that I only spent $60 for and my 4870 fits in it with ease. I have a Full Tower Thermaltake Argua that the 4870 almost doesn't fit, if not for bending the power connector wires almost 90 degrees, that card wouldn't fit... I had to install the power connectors to the card, then pull the wires upwards over the card and insert the card into the PCIEx16 slot. If that case would have been 1/2in. tighter I wouldn't have gotten the card in because of the Hard drive housing not allowing it...
