I have 3 clients so far starting my own house keeping business in October. I have earned the clients by word of mouth and the first one by marketing online. If I can get 7 more I will not need to have another full time job and will be able to work for myself only. What are other ways to market for more customer traffic flow?
I was thinking about getting car magnets, business cards ( I should already have business cards), and mailing out fliers. Any other thoughts? It's a small town, but it seems to be attracting clients. I chose house keeping based on the economical status we are in. I was having a hard time finding a job so I decided to start working for myself. Do I need to give it more time to pick up for more clients?
I do have insurance, business license, and bonded.
Any suggestions would be great.
Fliers is a good idea. Just go door to door and leave fliers. I would create a simple website and rely mostly on word to mouth. If you are only trying to get 7 more clients, there isn't a need to do mass advertisement.
