The part I am looking for can be found in toys or other places. Basically, 1) the joint connects two bars together, 2) you can bend the joint in one direction with maybe a 15 degree step size, 3) it is anti-reverse due to the ratchet wheel inside the joint, and 4) there is a push-release button on the joint so that two bars will return to their default position when you push the release button.
