What in the world is the Linksys Fast Ethernet 10/100Mbps Card Bus PC Card and Network Adapter?
We have it in storage but I have no clue why! The internet works perfectly find and I've looked through it and I still don't know what it's for. Does it make the computer faster or something?
That is an aging network adapter card, probably for an older laptop. That card plugs into the PCMCIA slot (cardbus) of a laptop and then the network cable plugs into it and that's how you get on the network. Most laptops nowadays have ethernet built in or USB connections for everything so card bus is kind of dying off. You're probably safe to chuck it or try your luck on eBay but don't be mad at me if you throw it out and someone comes looking for it afterwards.
