I want to REPLACE the battery. How? Where is it?
We are talking about the CMOS backup battery. The computer is old and no longer stores its CMOS settings.
It's a round coin like thing. Be careful if its soldered on and you yank too hard, you might mess up the MB.
Note that replacement MBs for those old enough to have burned out CMOS batteries are plentifull and cheap.
Is your MB a pentium II or Celeron or is it newer?
