how long did it take you to be able to do the splits? i want to be able to do it cause for some reason i find it cool. 
i'm not SUPER flexible but i'm not really a stiff person either. i am a figure skater so i have some flexibility.
can you tell me some stretches that might help me get it faster? i already know the one where you sit up against the wall and try to go as far as possible. doesnt seem to help me though. if you could just help me out here it would be greatly appreciated.
hmm. i can do the splits... ive done cheerleading for 6 years..
sit like flat on your butt on the ground with your legs apart.. then try to touch your foot.after you can touch your feet, try to get your nose to touch the middle of the floor.
also, go down in split position and go as far down into the splits as you can..its going to hurt a little but that means next time you can go down alittle farther.do that like every night before you go to sleep and go down a little further each time you do it, make sure you hold the split position for about 20 seconds.. i know its a long time but just try your best!
