My Laptop screen is loose & won't stay up. Can I fix this?? It's a dell latitude c640?
I have taken out the covers over the hinges...But there are any screws. They're found in the back of the laptop-where I have all the plugs located. I don't know a thing about fixing this type of laptop though...any help?
Sounds like the hinges might be loose. Might need to have those tightened. Look at the manual that the other guy posted...and see if it has anything on them....but most likely there is a piece covering the hinges that you need to get to. IT is also possible the hinges could be broken. And if so, may take a LOT more effort and laptop work savvy to tear apart and fix/replace those hinges.
