Hi. I am in the market for finding a new CPU cooler for a socket 939 and AM2 processor( planning on overhauling system). My gaming computer is in my bedroom and the standard stock fan is loud. I am looking to spend no more than 60 dollars. I would like to have something that is quiet and yet performs well. Also I was looking at the ZEROtherm BTF 95 fanless butterfly and I was wondering if that is a good buy. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
There's tons of good after market coolers just like the one you mentioned...yes that is a very good CPU cooler!
But they also have others that have silent fans on them as well...
Keep in mind how BIG these really are!!! They look small in the pictures but in real life are HUGE and take up a LOT of SPACE.
Make sure your case has the room to fit it...
Do some mm to inches online conversions to get a good idea of how big they are then do some measuring inside your case to the outside wall to see if it will fit!
