What will be my options to my stock P4 CPU fan&heatsink?
I acquired this PC as a second hand, everything seems to look fine and clean. It is a P4 2.4Ghz CPU. I am very conscious about it. Its stock CPU fan&heatsink is very noisy or loud and made the whole casing vibrates.
I have a spare CPU fan&heatsink from a P4 2.0Ghz CPU, can I use this to replace the noisy CPU fan&heatsink? Or shall I buy a new pair?

You didn't mention the socket size of both processors... assuming its the same, you should be able to use with little to no problem. If anything the newer processor generates less heat because it is more efficiently built.
