My cpu fan went south about a month ago. I removed it at the time and I am just now getting ready to replace it, I would have done it sooner if I didn't steal my son's laptop:), but I can not remember which direction the fan blows. The Dimension 4550's CPU fan is located on the top back, center, next to the PSU/Fan, it has a green shroud that is connected the the fan housing which exits directly over the cpu heatsink. I know I should have replaced it when I removed the OEM fan but I didn't and now I can't remember which direction it should be blowing. Any help would be appreciated, as my son is going to start charging me for using his laptop.

On Dell, the fans are blow up/out and they normally go through a tunnel to extract out
