Im ordering my second pc build, using newer parts. I was planning on using this processor that uses this socket interface I have never heard of; AM2+...Will this fit in an AM2 mobo? How about the Corsair Liquid Cooler for the CPU? It says it fits AM2/AM3...what about AM2+? Thanks

If you install AMD AM2+ CPU on AM2 motherbord, the system bus speed will downgrade from HT3.0(5200MHz) to HT1.0(2000 MT/s) spec; however, the frequency of AM2+ CPU will not be impacted. Please refer "CPU Support List" of your motherboard(on website obviously) for more information.
and if it is in motherboard's cpu support then dont worry about HT speed as the HT Speed isn't as important in games. At best it would be a 2% performance decrease.
