Moving from agp to PCI express for gamers?
since all the new cards are PCI ex i hope to move to PCI ex soon. currently i'm on a amd atholon 2.8GHz 1 G DDR, Gforce 6200 128 mb.
i think i'll have to go for a new motherboard as well. maybe even a new chip, also i heard there's something about pci ex mother boards having limited 16x slots.
what do you guys best advice for vga, monther board and chip i should be gettting
PCI slots are 2x faster than AGP slots(max=8x)...so i recommend PCI slot. don't go 4 NVIDIA....ati's much better.
before buying the board see it's 800FSB+ and supports DDR2 and Dual channel.....socket AM2(AMD) processor- Athlon FX
Dont buy a board with good on board graphs...its of no use.
