What is the best way to repartition a SCSI disk on a Dell PowerEdge 1600SC with PERC4-SC controller.?
Existing configuration is one SCSI disk with two partitions, one for OS, the other for data. OS is SBS2003. I want to increase the OS partition size. I am quite familiar with Partition Magic for changing partition sizes on IDE and SATA drives, but I understand an ASPI driver is required in order to do the same on a SCSI disk. I have no experience with this. Can anyone provide the means/drivers to do this, or a better method? Thanks in advance.
I use powerquest volume manager 2.0, works on SCSI and RAID devices with ease. Of course PQ was bought by Veritas which was bought by Symantec, so I have not seen the newer stuff.
