Density Memory Experts
is my motherboard compatible with high density memory ram?
I have a ECS GeForce6100PM-M2 motherboard (click on the link for specs) and I want to buy some memory rams to upgrade it. I got my eye on 2 X 2GB PC6400 DDR2 800mhz DDR2 RAM Memory ram. and I want to see if it is compatible with it because it is high density (and people told me only 10% of mother board support high density rams)

on the first page is a drop down list search box
use the drop down list to find your Board
and then follow the prompts until
you arrive at the window displaying a list of RAM that is compatible with your Board
at the bottom of the RAM list is a box with 6 Tabs
the first one is "System Info" which will tell you the Total amount of RAM that can be installed
under the third tab "Upgrade Path" it will show you the Max. RAM that can be in any one RAM Socket
