What's the best way to set up a desktop computer with a Small Form Factor case and a standard ATX power supply?
I am planning to upgrade the power supply on my computer to over 400w while the case of this computer is set up to fit FlexATX power supplies which only reach 300w to date. Either a microATX or Standard ATX power supply would not fit in the small form factor desktop computer. What would be the best way to set up the placement of the computer case and the placement of an ATX or microATX power supply powering that computer case?
If you mount the ps externally just make sure you have adequate ventilation for the ps as well as the case. You may have to put a case fan in the area wither the ps would normally go.
