my laptop's LCD display is a little off color at the margins. What is it, and can it be fixed?
It started when I once had it at high altitudes and on bumpy roads (switched off, of course, on the roads). Since then, there's a light yellowish shine on the right margin of the screen. It extends a little into the right bottom corner, and is not at all symmetrical. It blends into the rest of the display, which is correct in colors. Look as if some of the color had been shaken out of some parts of the screen. What exactly could it be, and is there a way to regenerate the screen?
It sounds like some of the liquid crystals were jarred, I think the only way to fix is is to replace the display.
