which is a better deal? Thinkpad or Ideapad?

Hey guys please help me out. I brought both of these laptops but i'm returning one. which one do you guys think is a better deal?

I like the Thinkpad line of laptops over the Ideapad line but I would say that the Ideapad is better of these two machines. If you could update the RAM and OS of the Thinkpad (to a 64-bit OS) then I would go with it.
