Why does my touchpad freeze during login?
A while ago, I noticed that my touchpad (the thing that acts as a mouse on a laptop) would sometimes freeze when I try to login. This happens after bringing it out of sleep mode. At first, it only did it once in a while, but now it pretty much happens everytime I login.
Here is my computer info:
Windows Vista Basic
1.5 GHZ VIA Esther processor
1406 MB RAM
Model: Everex Stepnote NC Series
It is a known bug within Vista. Supposiatly, the service pack will fix it. But if I where you, Id downgrade back to XP. Vista brings nothing but headaches.
