Do I need to mod my PC case if I want to mount a 120 mm fan in some of the 5.25 drive bays?
I want to mount a frontal intake fan for my corsair 800D case in some of the unused 5.25 inch drives bays, but I need to know if any modding is necessary.
Do you know if they sell drive bay inserts to mount the fan in?
Yes you have to have at least 3 bays available....make a metal plate to hold the fan...pop rivet the plate and fan in place... Its not a easy job but not impossible. I do it on the Cooler Master CAC-5
