Temp. gauage get to 210 and keeps climbing when idling, Electric cooling fan inside the shroud does not kick on.Anyone with any ideas on this problem. Fan relay maybe? Fan motor burned out? Checked fuses with test light all OK. Fuses look good.
1 common problem is the fan relay....and man its in a rough spot......its behind the passenger headlight assembly with the headlamp out.......look to the lower left corner where there is a crack in the black pastic to the back of the front bumper cover...a little box about 1.5 x 1.5 inches...and about 1/4 inch thick...should have 4 or 5 wires to it...there are 2 different ones thats the most common problem...at the chrysler dealer about $70 for the part......the cooling fans are also a common problem...its 1 of the 2...........if you have a test light probe the wires that go to the fan with the engine up to tempeture.....if there is power the fan is bad...... if you have no power the relay is bad....
