Fire wire card freezes computer?
I just bought a PCMCIA 2 Port 1394 Card, AKA a firewire card for my Gateway 7508GX Mobile AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400
blah blah blah 1.58 GHz 1.00 GB of RAM
Its a POS...
When I put the firewire card into the slot, it acknowledges its presence and then freezes. Even if I reboot, windows XP loads and then freezes once again.
HOW do I FIX IT!?
Its a hard freese

try to update your computer BIOS...
