Which CPU is right for my motherboard?
I have a AMD Duron Socket A (462) 1.29 GHz CPU right now and I was wondering if it's possible to switch my CPU with a 2.0 GHz. I don't know which of the latest CPUs will fit into my motherboard. The core voltage of my current CPU is 1.77 V. It would be good if I had a cheap and affordable CPU but with 2.0 GHz. Thanks for the help!
Socket A was discontinued quite a while ago. I don't think AMD still manufactures them, so you may be out of luck.
