I have to create 3 posters for assignment in which i have Upgrade, Fault and compatibility. Can anyone tell me that what are those implications/problems that we may come up with after installing the Hard Disk Drive (HDD)? Please state minimum of 5 implications. Thank you.
2)Hard Disk Drive not recognised in BIOS (Set EIDE/PATA and SATA channels to AUTO in BIOS)
3)Large-size Hard Drive appearing as a smaller one. (Computer not configured for Logical Block Addressing - whereby Hard Drive blatantly lies to computer about its Physical geometry to overcome a BIOS issue which formerly prevented drives being above a certain size.)
4)Hard Drive will require formatting and partitioning before it can be used. (Operating Systems mostly do this for you when you install them, but if disk is an extra disk for storage or part of an array of disks, you'll still need to format and partition it.).
5)A computer with only SATA ports will require an adaptor if you want to connect an EIDE/PATA hard drive, and likewise the other way around.
