promise pci to sata controller?
i want to have a bigger capacity backup hdd so i bought seagate 160 gb hdd but my motherboard p4al-800 has no sata port and i bought promise sata controller from cdr-king and the motherboard recognize the card but i cant see any drives on My Computer and i notice that the device manager cannot recognize the card it says (?Raid controller) btw the promise sata controller has no driver disk.. amen
You need to get the drivers for your Promise SATA controller card. It should have come with a disc of some sort. Check the website of the manufacturer and see if they have drivers there.
