Hdtv Remote Vista
Best Parts for Home Theatre PC?
Currently run 2x HDMI devices (DISH Network VIP622 and xbox360) to TV w/ 3 HDMI inputs and audio out from TV via digital optical output to yamaha ysp-1100.
I would like to hook HDMI devices to pc and one HDMI to TV, but reading there is probably no HDMI input card for PC's?
Anyway what I want in the PC :
1. Blue Ray Burner (best model/cost)
2. HD graphics card (considering ATI HD3870 x2 1gb but would like something with composite/component input)
3. HDTV Tuner??? / FM Tuner
4. 2-4gb memory (not running 64bit so will i see 4gb?)
5. 600w power supply enough? GPU card is power intensive
6. Need a good Mobo and prefer Intel Core Duo's. (point me in a good direction 
)
7. Case (looking at Ahanix MCE701 Media Center Case with 7" Touch Screen, but would i be able to run a home theatre looking )
8. 500-1000mb Sata Drives.
9. An OS to run it (Vista Ultimate)
10. Wireless Keyboard/mouse and remote.

I can offer my 2 cents on certain parts...
2) the HD3870 is great, I have a DDR4 one in mine
4) Windows see's something like 3.2GB of 4GB
5) 600W should be enough for your dual card setup (I assume crossfire)... get a quality quite PSU
6) I'm a ABIT man, I used the I-45CV for my media box
many drives are made in the same place, they are all about the same noise level.
my other 2 cents... get a quite CPU cooler, I used a ZEROTHERM CF800 It was the best one that would fit in my little MATX case.
