The doors look like shutters and are on a track (top track only and NO bottom track). They cover an alcove containing a washer & dryer in the basement. Each door is actually 2 doors connected by hinges. On the right side, the pin (about the diameter of a pencil but made of hard plastic and flat on top) keeps coming out the track. The pin can be put back on track, but after opening and closing the doors a couple of times, the pin "jumps" out of the track and the door is off track. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
You're talking about BIFOLD doors, I believe.
It could be that the two sides of the track are a bit stretched out--maybe try pinching them together a bit to see if that holds the piece in place.
I had this same problem, pain in the butt it was. I solved the problem by moving!
You might want to go to Home Depot and get a replacement track if the pinching trick doesn't work--I'm betting someone in the door/window section could help you. For now, I've attached a few links that may give you some ideas. Good luck.
