Specifically Guitar Hero III:PC. I've even updated to v1.3 and it still won't launch.
My system doesn't require virtual memory to be enabled and reading/writing directly to RAM is much faster... so I'd rather not have to enable it just for this one game.
My system;
GH3:PC will run fine when I have virtual memory enabled... would rather find a way not to, as enabling/disabling it requires a reboot and I often change between different games in one sitting.
I should mention I'm pretty savvy with computers. Not flexing my knowledge dong, just saying. Obviously I don't think overly of my abilities or I wouldn't be seeking assistance.

I don't have performance issues, the game won't even launch... it just gives an error saying "Virtual memory must be enabled to play this game".
I'm pretty confident the game would run fine. I max out WoW, FEAR, COD4, Portal, UT3, etc. with no issues.
Partie is right. There is no reason to have 8gb of RAM because Vista only supports 3gb and then uses the fourth for the OS and only the OS.
Alto of programs don't work on 64bit processors either, which is a real disappointment.
