How would I get internet with a usb adapter or internal wireless card?
I have NEVER tried wireless internet yet, and I was wondering if this is what you need -would you just hook either one up and it would start working? or......are there any certain steps you need to take to get a connection?
Well, first you need a wireless router before you can go wireless at all. Once you have your router set up, then you can begin to add your wireless computers to the network.
Both the USB adapter and internal wireless card do the same thing: they act as a wireless network interface card so your wireless computer can connect to the network. If you don't know much about computers, the USB adapter is the easier option, since you don't have to take your computer apart.
Any drivers and software that are required for the internal card or the USB adapter will come with them.
