Replacing fan & heatsink on Acer laptop - should I do this myself?
or should I have it done by a computer pro. I have the replacement fan and some small screwdrivers
I'm not mechanically / electronically talented or experienced.
Desktop? Yes. Laptop? No.
The reason I say so is because... I have a rule when it comes to laptops: "If you're not sure you can do it right, you shouldn't do it." Basically that's because laptops are so small and fragile, and are impossible to take apart. Nothing's worse than taking it apart, realizing you didn't put something back correctly and never being able to find out what you did wrong. So, from now on you have a rattle or some other corky thing because you just HAD to do it yourself!
