I have a Brother 4100 Fax & I'm having trouble sending faxes.?
I can hear the fax tone, so it appears as though it is working. The LCD says that it is sending, but it takes forever and and it never beeps or says that the fax completed. Instead it says on the top line.."SENDING PAGE 1" - and on the second line it says.."SLEEPING"?! When I print out a fax activity report it says "OK" (that it went through). But the recipient is not receiving it? I am not sure if i am able to receive faxes or not. No one has tried to fax me. Please Help
Do you even have your fax machine connected to a land line? Phone line you use to make calls on? If not, you can't send a fax.
