Does the glossy screen of the new iMac suck?
There’s a lot of buzz online about the glossy LCD screen on the new generation of iMacs, called the Aluminum iMac. Some people love it and some hate it. However, its new glossy screen may have a deeper meaning in Apple ’s positioning for consumer, business and professional systems.

It depends what your preferences is. Personally, the glossy screen reflects a lot of whats behind you, especially light, hence limiting my ability to see past everyone/everythings reflection in it. However, the graphics look a bit better, and it looks more high-end than normal laptops. So it's kind of balanced out. But if you're going to use it in a place that's just absolutely packed and/or full of light, do not get it. Otherwise it would be an o.k. investment.
