I just bought a new house and i am buying stuff for it. This week i took a couple days off from work to go look around at different stores like...best buy,,,hh greg,,,circuit city,,,frys electronics,,, I'm looking for a good sized plasma or LCD television for the living room. 1080p...but affordable. somewhere around 1000 give or take a couple hundred.any specific brands or models,,when looking what should i look for.I'm also looking into getting a ps3 or a xbox 360. which is a better investment in the long run. and which has the most technical issues so far...or would it be better to just buy a blu ray player?? and just skip a game console...i like games but im not a hardcore gamer,,,im just looking for quality & coolness... So i need help with choosing those 2 items. both pricey but worth it if you pick the right one up front. Thanks any help is appreciated
I have a 360, but since there is only one studio left that is doing HD DVD I would say go with Sony PS3 because you get a game console, and a Blue Ray player. Also go with a Panasonic, or Sony or Magnavox. The better the brand the better the longevity. Also the reason why i am telling you to get a ps3 instead of an xbox 360 is because it is possible to get the Red Ring of Death. If you don't know what it is look it up. But if you get a PS3 just try and get a Sony TV you might find a TV that kinda has the same style as the PS3.
