Laptop backlight problem?
I have an HP G60. I broke the screen and replaced it. When I finally got the bezel to fit, the backlight stopped working. Everything is plugged in. Is it possible the inverter went bad? I can see the normal desktop on the LCD but with no light behind it.

Try reseating the cable for the inverter. IF that doesn't help then you have a bad inverter.
