My screen colors got all screwed up and I was able to wiggle the lcd cable wire to get it back to normal for a sec but it didnt last. Now when I start the pc the screen is back white and grey with multicolored lines and I can here the pc boot fine. I am able to run an external monitor but I am wondering how to fix the lcd. Should I replace the lcd cable or inverter?
the cable and inverter need to be changed. that problem was cause because the heat of the processor damage the LCD cables that conect to the motherboard.
by the way, they dont sell them separate, you will have to buy the LCD screen too, in some brands and that cost almost 50% of the total laptop cost, try getting those cables from other Laptop of the same model. different models of inverter doesnt work, need to be the same
