hp dv8000 laptop lcd/ display problem Backlight turns on, but no picture at all, only shows dark black screen?
so one day I spilled juice on my hp dv8000 laptop, took about 2 months before i bought a new motherboard, then when everything seems to be in order, my lcd shows nothing but a black screen, the backlight turns on so i dont think its the inverter, external monitor works fine so it's not the graphics card, maybe a bad ribbon? i could be wrong on these diagnosis, please help! any help would be much appreciated 
It's most likely the inverter board or the cable connecting to the inverter board is not being properly seated.
