Can heat mess up an LCD screen?
I just got a laptop for Christmas and it was working fine. I tried to use it tonight (in my bathroom which is always around 100 degrees) and the screen was all messed up. I'm now in a normal tempature room and it's not any different. I also used system restore to go back to December 26th but it didn't change. Also when I start the computer there is like the outline of a disc in the top left hand side of the screen if that means anything.
Heat can mess up an LCD screen, but something as low as 100 degrees shouldn't unless you were in there for quite a long time. 10 minutes or less should be fine. It is much more likely that your bathroom was humid and the water in the air is what messed it up. Probably needs a new screen.
