hey i'm buying a Asus P6T Intel with the new i7 core
and i was just wondering if this psu is ok for it and partially overclocking a little bit

It would be fine unless you install Crossfire or SLI which on that board you can do either setup. Some Mobo's can use 3 video cards! Which is actually pointless for any game out at this time. Programming hasn't caught up far enough to qualify the spending at this time nor in the near future!
