Creating memory space on my Mac Pro?
I've backed up my Mac Pro using time machine and a external HD. I've been using a HD video camera and there isn't anymore room on the mac HD. Is there a strategy to bypass time machine and save to the external HD, delete some files to make room for more video. And if I need to bring some files back from the external HD I can. Hope this makes sense and thanks for the help.
Buy yourself another removable hard drive and copy files to that, then delete from your computer hard drive.
Any USB or FireWire drive would be fine, if need be you can reformat in Disk Utility.
