Is it normal that a Core 2 Quad Motherboard has only 2 slots for ram chip?
Yes, on many Motherboards, depending on the manufacturer, it is common and does NOT mean U have a cheap Board.
As U can purchase 2X2Gig DDR2 800 Ram chips, this makes 4 gig memory in total and this is really sufficient for any Program/Game.
