I don't see any mention of what your OS (operating System) is.
If it is a 32-bit OS, ya got all the RAM already.
Motherboard (no s), MSI 880GM-E41 (Radeon HD4250 Video, HDMI, 6xSATA2, 4xDDR3)
So, ya got 4 slots for RAM on the MoBo.
The RAM in it now is 4Gig of 2x2 sticks of 2 Gigs each = 4 Gigs of RAM.
The MoBo is equipped with 4 slots for a maximum of (4x2) Gigs of DDR3 RAM = total of 8 Gigs of RAM.
If ya get a 64-bit OS, you can handle up to 8 Gigs of DDR3 RAM at 1333 speed.
The type and speed of RAM sticks MUST always be the same, DDR3 at 1333.
Why you want more RAM you didn't say, go ahead, waste yer moola.
Mix up the type, only the proper type is recognized, if any.
Mix the speed and only the proper speed is recognized, if any.
The most important thing of all is that ya got the wires and cables neatly tied up away from fans, can you imagine not having a neat bunch of wires tied together? Not me, no sir.
Some unnecessary info you gave:
Heatsink
HDD serial #
Case
Power supply
Networking
Sound card (Onboard ?) Anything on-board is a no no with me.
Card Reader
Neon lights (Wow)
Wiring
Warranty (if from ebay) don't hold yer breath).
