How should the cpu compare to the motherboard?
I'm building a computer and don't know the best way to get the most out of a cpu. Should the motherboard cost more than the cpu or vice versa, or does it matter.
I was looking at this motherboard and processor:
ASUS P5NSLI LGA 775 NVIDIA nForce 570 SLI Intel Edition ATX Intel Motherboard - $96.99
Intel Core 2 Duo E6320 Conroe 1.86GHz LGA 775 Processor Model BX80557E6320 - $165.50
The processor will fit but is it too good for the motherboard to get the full potential out of it?
definetely the motherboard should be the most expensive thing you've got cuz its pretty much the heart and soul of the computer everything else are just parts to make the motherboard do its work which is satisfy your needs computer wise!! l Intel core 2 duo is an awesome processor and i think it'll be ok to use with... obviously if you are willing to put more money towards the motherboard you should!!
