Can i place my Single Graphic Card in a PCIE_2 slot?
I have an A8N-SLI Deluxe Motherboard, Since i replaced the famous failed northbridge heatsink with COOLER MASTER SLC-S41-U1 Copper Fan & Heatsinks Between the 2 PCI-E Slots. I cannot put any bulky graphic card into PCIE_1 Slot which is the top slot.
I have 2 Graphic Card in SLI mode at the moment, 2 Geforce 7800 GTX 256MB in SLI mode. I wanna replace those old Card with single Geforce GTX260. But due to new Fan and Heatsink size i installed on the chips, i cannot place the GTX260 on the top slot. Can i just put them on Second PCI-E slot?
Will the Motherboard able to recognized it?
You can get a low profile NB heat sink.
