Help! how can i replace my laptop LCD screen? Computer shops charge so high for just replacing the LCD screen?
Hello. My name is Anthony. I recently have dropped my laptop and the screen cracked. I have gone to computer shops but I believe they charge so much just to replace the LCD screen. How can I replace it on my own without damaging other parts of my notebook?
Anthony, yeah computer shops usually charge more than what's expected, good idea to replace it on your own. Well anyway, replacing the lcd screen is easy. You just need a new screen and the proper tools.
Here is how you replace your laptop lcd screen:
1. take off battery
2. look for screws in the bezel
3. pull the bezel out
4. look for the manufacturer's part number in the back of the screen
5. disconnect connectors
6. then just do the steps in reverse.
