Hi, I am looking to buy a new computer and found one for a good price, but because of it's nominal cost, I thought I might find out weather its specs where any good. Its processor is a amd turion, and its graphic card is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 280
I am not sure what kind of turion it is.
Better check what cpu you have. Last I heard the Turion was a laptop cpu.
Flacks right. An ATI 4870X2 will destroy a GTX280 as shown in these gaming benchmarks.
Even the Nvidia 9800GX2 is faster, as it says in bold in paragraph 8 on this page:
Unless you're running massive resolutions on a flat panel 32 inches or bigger the GTX280 is a waste of money.
