Im a bit of a hardcore gamer so would this PC be good for any type of game(would it lag alot or would it be smooth?)? would appreciate your opinions
No, this P.C is not good for gaming. On board graphics are no good for games these days or even a few years ago. Very few P.C games will run on on board graphics, the last one i played was Rome TW but even if you managed to play it on that P.C it will lag like crap with only 512mb RAM. You defiantly need a GFX card if your considering playing anything decent and the minimum i would go with is the NVidia 8600GT, its cheap and will play anything out. You want more RAM 2GB min and a bigger HD wouldn't hurt as games files are getting allot bigger. Its also worth bearing in mind the Motherboard (in terms of hardware support) when upgrading as more new game releases will have support for Dual/Quad core CPUs and you want a M/board that will support this.
